Make Your Own Paper Lei

You’ll Need:

  • Colored paper

  • Scissors

  • String or yarn

  • Drinking straws (optional)

  • Hole punch

Instructions:

  1. Cut out flower shapes from your paper.

  2. Punch a hole in the middle of each flower.

  3. Cut straws into small pieces (about an inch long).

  4. Thread your flowers and straw pieces onto the string, one at a time.

  5. Keep going until your lei is long enough to wear.

  6. Tie the ends together.

Wear your lei and say “Aloha!”
