Hawaiian words are beautiful, easy to say, and filled with meaning. Here’s a list of some of the most common words you and your keiki (kids) can use and enjoy at home.

🌺 A Few Hawaiian Words to Know:

  • Aloha (ah-LO-ha) — Hello, goodbye, and love. It’s more than a greeting — it’s a way of showing kindness and warmth to others.

  • ‘Ohana (oh-HAH-na) — Family. And not just your relatives, but close friends and loved ones too. ‘Ohana means no one gets left behind!

  • Mahalo (mah-HA-lo) — Thank you! A simple and sweet word to show gratitude.
